Emily Goldman is the Director of Research and Evaluation Partnerships at the Puerto Rico Department of Education, where she manages an extensive portfolio of policy evaluations. She is a behavioural scientist specialised in youth development programming and has led multinational research initiatives for the UN Alliance of Civilizations, UNICEF, the International Organization for Migration, and other multilateral organisations across the Middle East and Latin America.
Emily is also the co-founder and former director of Middlebury College’s Jiran program, a US-based Arabic immersion program focused on migration education and social cohesion. She is an active member of the Gates Foundation Advancing Innovative Math Solutions network and the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management. Emily holds a B.A. in Development Studies and Middle East Studies from Brown University and an M.Sc. in Social Cognition from University College London.
