Clémentine Van Effenterre is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Toronto. Her research explores questions related to gender, labour, and behavioural economics, and has examined the impact of institutional constraints on maternal labour supply, the gender gap in science, and more.

Dr. Van Effenterre also hosts a regular podcast on economics and inequality, InequaliTalks. She received her PhD in Economics from the Paris School of Economics.
