Kory Kroft

Kory Kroft is a Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Toronto. His research explores questions related to labour, and has investigated the causes and consequences of unemployment, the role of competition in the U.S. construction industry, optimal taxation and social insurance policies, and more.

Dr. Kroft is also an affiliate of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) and CESifo, and a National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) research associate. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
