Marco Gonzalez-Navarro is an Associate Professor at the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. His research explores questions related to development, urban, and governance and has examined income inequality and economic vulnerability in the context of political participation and corruption, the effects of programmatic interventions that address systemic inequalities, and more.

Dr. Gonzalez-Navarro is also an affiliate of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD), and the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA). He received his PhD in Economics from Princeton University.
