Marlène Koffi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Toronto. Her research explores questions related to labour, innovation, and science, and has examined the gender gap in the commercialization of science, what drives differences in earnings dynamics for different workers at different types of firms, and more.

Dr. Koffi is also an affiliate of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Montréal.
