Paola Salardi is an Associate Professor of Economics, Teaching Stream, in the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto. Her research explores questions related to development, crime and conflict, and gender, and has examined inequality and discrimination in Brazil, specialized domestic violence courts in Puerto Rico, the effect of violence on school performance in Mexico, violence, education and women’s empowerment in Timor-Leste, and more.

Dr. Salardi received her PhD in Economics from the University of Sussex.
