Raissa Fabregas

Raissa Fabregas is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research explores questions related to development, labour, and education, and has examined the barriers to human capital accumulation and labour market access, interventions that improve public service delivery in developing countries, the the impact of attending better schools in Mexico City, and more.
Dr. Fabregas is also an invited researcher of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) and a research collaborator for Precision Development (PxD). She received her Ph.D. in Public Policy from Harvard University.
