Rubén A. Gaztambide-Fernández is a Professor in the Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) of the University of Toronto. His research explores questions related to Education, drawing on cultural studies, decolonial/postcolonial and feminist theory, as well as critical sociology, to study the symbolic boundaries and the dynamics of cultural production and identification processes in educational contexts.
Dr. Gaztambide-Fernández received his EdD in Learning and Teaching from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
