Jinghao Liu joined the Department of Economics and the Forward Society Lab’s pre-doctoral fellowship program in June 2025 to support faculty research on the accessibility of urban travels and the economic history of North America. Jinghao graduated from the University of Toronto in 2025 with an MA in Economics and from the University of Michigan in 2024 with a BA in Economics. His research interests include structural transformation, agricultural productivity, and industrial policies.
