Louna Demashki joined the Department of Economics and the Forward Society Lab’s pre-doctoral fellowship program in July 2026 to support faculty research on applied microeconomics and education policy. Louna graduated from the University of Toronto Mississauga in 2026 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts, specializing in Economics and Political Science. Her research interests include decentralized economic development in post-conflict states and community-grounded methods of evidence construction.
